David Weiss is a skilled and experienced litigator. David enlisted in the United States Coast Guard after high school and served on active duty and in the reserves, rising to the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
Through his own personal experiences -- deployments, parenthood, marriage, divorce, transfers, and other stressors unique to military life -- David learned first hand the importance of hard work, adaptability, and having a good attorney.

While in law school David developed an interest in family law and was a judicial extern in the Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. As a law student David also worked for the Cook County Office of the Public Defender, the John Marshall Law School Veterans Legal Support Center and Clinic, and the Cook County Domestic Violence Legal Clinic. After being admitted to practice, David established his own law firm which focused on criminal law and family law.
David enjoys complicated and unusual cases that require creativity and tenacity. David’s proudest moments as an attorney have come from taking on cases that seemed impossible and helping his clients achieve great results. David is a veteran and brings his understanding and personal experience to family law matters that involve military members, veterans, and their families. In his spare time David enjoys playing bass guitar and spending time with his son.
